So why do you need to love movement?
It is so easy to get out of balance.
In this virtual age of knowledge, movement now competes for time and energy against the draw of technology.
The systems that exist now, work against the needs of our physical body.
When young, the body is driven to move and play. But even that is now threatened by modern life.
As we progress through life, increasing outside pressures become greater, and we learn to resist what our body and instinct is telling us. This can lead to a tremendous imbalance, and an absence of homeostasis.
We often have to learn this the hard way. Unhealthy patterns develop, such as turning to external sources for escape and for energy. Losing touch with intuition - our body giving us messages in order to keep it healthy.
Resulting lack of energy and motivation, leads to a decrease in fitness and sometimes health problems, mental disorders, being overweight, immobility, and burnout.
This can be all turned around by starting to move and learning to hear your body once again.
